CAVE 1st Generation Hardware, also known as CAVE 68000 Hardware,[1] is the first arcade hardware used by Cave. It uses a MC68000 CPU with a Z80 sound CPU. The sound chips are either a YMZ280B or OKIM6295 x (1|2) + YM2203 / YM2151. The Z80 and OKIM6295 x (1|2) + YM2203 / YM2151 are optional components.
